What is a Céilí?
It’s a dance party featuring Irish social folk dancing. For those new to Irish words, it’s pronounced “kay-lee”.
The dances will be taught. No prior experience is necessary. Suitable for all ages.
Bring your family and friends!
The dance band is going to be epic!
Wear comfy shoes and come prepared for fun!
The Céilí is open to the general public, Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door.
If you are registered as a student, one admission to the Céilí is included in your registration package. If you are registered and wish to purchase additional Céilí tickets. you may do so at the door.
About Éamonn de Cógáin
Éamonn has introduced thousands to the joys of Irish Céilí dancing, teaching the basic steps and movements with an easy-going nature that encourages participation from all ages. Under master caller Éamonn de Cógáin, what is normally somewhat tame, turns out to be the most fun that you can have on legs – or even wheels! With live music this is set to be one of the most talked about elements of the festival.
