Where to Stay
There will be two “official” lodging locations, on campus in University of St. Thomas dorm space and our host hotel.
Guinan Residence Hall At UST
If you wish to reserve a dorm room, please select the size and number of nights desired during checkout for your registration. You will also be asked for the names of all occupants and whether you wish a bedding bundle.
Rooms in Guinan must be reserved by April 1, 2024
Please note the following important information:
- All rooms have their own bath and climate control
- All beds are twin size
- Bedding not included
- A bedding bundle being offered by UST for $10 per person. This will include a set of linens, pillow, blanket and one bath and hand towel
- Bring bedding and towels if not purchasing the bundle
- Bring your own toiletries
- An elevator is available in the building
- A pay as you go laundry is available in each wing
- Dorm rooms rooms contain microwave and mini-fridge
- No Smoking in rooms
- A 3 night minimum stay is required.
- Dorm fees are non-refundable

IMPORTANT: The person reserving the room that will be shared MUST, at the time of reservation, provide the legal name (as per ID /Drivers license) for each guest who will stay in the room. This is needed for UST to create the electronic access badges.
ACCESS BADGES
UST will be issuing their own ID ACCESS cards for guests staying on campus. This will allow main door access, floor and room access on each card. It will also allow covered parking in the Moran garage if purchased.
Host Hotel
Our host hotel this year will be the Crown Plaza Med Center-Galleria. They are a premium full-service hotel located in the bustling Upper Kirby/Greenway Plaza area. They have recently completed a full remodel of all guest rooms, you will be staying in what feels like a brand-new room!

- Penny Whistle Pub is 1.5 miles / 10 min
- Rice Village – a well-known dining & shopping area, is only 2.2 miles
- Many restaurants within one mile, both fine dining, casual and fast food
Hotel amenities
- Includes full breakfast buffet for 1 to 4 people per room, per day (with slightly higher rates for triple or quad occupancy)
- Overnight Parking in our garage will be complimentary for one standard vehicle per room, per day. Additional vehicles will be $15 + tax per room, per night

- Dining and entertaining is available in the hotel’s 2712 Bistro and Bar
- 24 hour fitness center and an outdoor pool
- Available dry cleaning services, the hotel also has an onsite guest laundry
