Breakfast and Lunch

The University’s dining service is offering pre-ordered breakfast and lunch in the Champions lounge for GCC attendees as a convenient option for dining without having to go off-campus.  See below for details.

Alternatively, you may go off campus to purchase food at a local establishment or have it delivered to campus. The University is located in a vibrant area of Houston with many good-quality, reasonably-priced food options, several of which are nearby. Click here for local dining suggestions.

Note: for anyone staying in the host hotel – breakfast is included with your room.

Details for UST DIning Services meals

Meals will be served in the Champions lounge, a private room at the north end of the cafeteria. Coffee, tea, and soda are included. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes will be offered. You may pre-purchase one or more of these meals at the time of registration.

  • UST Breakfast $13 per meal
  • UST Lunch $17 per meal

All meal purchases must be made before May 12, 2025

Please note the following important points:

  • All meals must be pre-ordered and prepaid by the cut-off date.  No meals will be added after that date.
  • There will be a check-in point at the Champions lounge whereby you will confirm your meal booking 
  • Only those who have pre-paid for their meal will be allowed in the Champions lounge at meal time.
  • The menu for GCC attendees will have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. (Please tick the relevant box when pre-ordering your meal)
  • There will be no refunds on meal purchases
  • Purchasing meals for a non-student companion. Please use the registration from, fill in their name and details and which meals are desired. Do not select a class.
  • NOTE:  The kitchen is NOT a gluten-free facility!  If you are super-sensitive, please do not order a meal with UST

During the day

As in past years, there will be a coffee, tea and water station available during the day. Donations are appreciated to help cover the cost.

There is also a drink vending machine in the Strake Hall restroom lobby.

Dinner

There will be a scheduled dinner break with plenty of time to sample some of the local restaurants in the area. There are many very good places with quite a variety of cuisines and price ranges. Click here for more information.
